A divergence begins as a subtle mismatch — a number that doesn’t reconcile, a behavior that doesn’t fit the model, a pattern that bends where it should remain straight.
Systems drift quietly at first, almost politely, as if trying not to disturb the architecture that contains them.

But drift accumulates. Eventually the ledger begins to contradict its own entries. The split is not collapse — it is clarity. A system diverges when its internal logic can no longer sustain the world it claims to describe.
