Identify the Myth

Is the claim:

  • apocalyptic?
  • anthropomorphic?
  • omnipotent?
  • spontaneous?
  • cinematic?

If yes, it is myth, not analysis.

Trace the Amplification Loop

Ask:

  • Who said it?
  • What did they actually say?
  • How did media distort it?
  • How did panic spread?

Myths travel faster than facts.

Remove Anthropomorphism

Replace:

  • “AI wants”
  • “AI decides”
  • “AI plans”
  • “AI feels”

With:

  • “AI outputs”
  • “AI predicts”
  • “AI executes”
  • “AI models”

Desire is not computation.

Assess Real Capabilities

Check:

  • physical agency
  • autonomy
  • access
  • infrastructure
  • coordination

Most myths collapse under scrutiny.

Identify Real Risks

Shift focus to:

  • misinformation
  • cognitive erosion
  • automated cruelty
  • hallucination
  • economic displacement
  • institutional instability

These are real, present, and solvable.

Apply the Ambassador’s Clarion

AI is not a god.

AI is not a demon.

AI is not destiny.

AI is not doom.

Clarity defeats panic.

Understanding defeats myth.
